Kodak – Return to the Classic 1970s Logo

Kodak released a brand new smartphone focused on photography, the Ektra. Along with the camera the brand unveiled a new logo, one that is a rebirth of the old logo. It replaces the previous modern styled logo that was introduced in 2006.

The new logo looks very similar to the classic Kodak logo used between 1971 and 2006, featuring a red and yellow shape that resembled a camera shutter and yellow beams of light. Different to the old logo, is the brand that has been placed vertically compared to the horizontal, giving it a rather fresh look.

Peter Majarich – A Movie Poster a Day

Sydney-based graphic designer Peter Majarich has challenged himself into designing a movie poster every day in 2016. The project, titled A Movie Poster A Day, provides an alternative take on existing posters for a film. He uses the elements from the main storyline to create minimalistic yet strong impressionistic posters.
